About The Position

GXO is hiring a PIT Operator to help provide supply chain solutions by operating powered industrial lift trucks and moving materials. The role includes using handheld scanners, loading and unloading trailers, receiving inbound goods, maintaining a clean work environment, and supporting process and quality standards. The position requires safe-operation training and certification, schedule flexibility, and the ability to perform physically demanding warehouse work in hot or cold environments. Requirements

Be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
Frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift more than 75 pounds.
Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights; bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull; and stand, sit, or walk for long periods.
Handle or manage tools or equipment.
Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of warehouse experience.
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products, equipment, and materials.
Use a handheld scanner accurately.
Load and unload trailers as needed.
Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
Demonstrate commitment to process excellence and understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
Perform inbound receiving processes.
