About The Position

Jim N Nick's Bar-B-Q is seeking a Pitmaster/Meat Cutter for their new restaurant opening in Myrtle Beach, SC. This role is responsible for the execution of pit and meat operations, ensuring the quality of smoked meats. The position involves managing food quality, operating smokers, adhering to processes and safety standards, and managing inventory and waste in the pit/meat area to uphold brand excellence.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pitmaster, Meat Cutter, Line Cook, Expediter, Prep Cook, or Fry/Salad Chef
• Passion to serve the guest
• Committed to teamwork
• Possess a positive attitude
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Respect the adherence to health, safety and sanitation procedures
• Ability to clean as you go and stay organized
• Performs duties that require bending, lifting, reaching and turning.
• Transports items and containers (weighing up to 50 lbs.) to and from stock and kitchen locations.
• Able to stand up to 8 hours or longer if needed.
