About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates a pit loader safely and efficiently to support sand and gravel production. The operator will load haul trucks, feed plant equipment, and move materials as needed. Additionally, they will conduct routine equipment inspections, perform basic maintenance tasks, monitor material quality, and communicate any production or safety concerns. Following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized work area are essential.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices around machinery and pit operations.
• Capability to work independently and adapt to changing production needs.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in varying outdoor conditions.
• Reliable, communicative individual with attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
