Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment such as loaders in an industrial or outdoor setting
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and following established procedures
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify equipment issues and take appropriate action
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
• Reliability, adaptability, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Responsibilities

• Operate pit loader to move, load, and stockpile aggregates safely and efficiently
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure reliability
• Load customer trucks and feed plant systems to maintain steady production flow
• Maintain housekeeping of pit and work areas to support safe operations
• Communicate with team members to coordinate production, safety, and priorities
