This role provides piping design services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and coordination within the piping design team. The position involves delivering piping design services that meet Worley, its customers', and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget. Responsibilities include preparing and developing piping design deliverables in accordance with project requirements and company standards, performing piping design activities such as developing 3D models, piping layouts, equipment arrangements, and piping isometrics, participating in relevant meetings, preparing progress updates, and following required checking procedures. The role ensures the project scope is clearly understood and that design changes comply with project change management processes. It also supports procurement, construction, and commissioning activities through preparation of design deliverables and resolution of field design issues. Coordination with engineers, designers, and other disciplines is essential to ensure effective integration of piping design requirements. The role may involve acting as the Lead Piping Designer on specific projects, outlining project requirements, assigning tasks, and supervising design progress if responsible for a team. It also ensures deliverables meet requirements on time and within budget, proactively resolves discrepancies, and maintains current knowledge of industry standards, design practices, and technological developments related to piping design. Assisting and supporting junior designers and communicating effectively with project stakeholders are also key aspects of this position.
