PCSI is seeking a Pipefitter to join its Mechanical department. Responsibilities include installation, repairs, and maintenance of high-pressure steam, hydronic heat, chilled water, and plumbing systems across a military facility. This role involves reviewing as-built drawings, fabricating and assembling pipe, troubleshooting system issues, and testing systems to ensure safe and efficient operation while following established safety standards. The position requires formal apprenticeship training or equivalent experience and the ability to work independently in physically demanding indoor and outdoor environments. This position will report to the Mechanical Supervisor and is based at Detroit Arsenal in Warren, MI. Typical shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm Rate of Pay: $52.25 per hour plus Health & Welfare (union shop), full benefits (including paid federal holidays off) Who Are We: PCSI is a non-profit organization and federal contractor that provides support services to hospitals, military bases, and private-sector clients throughout the United States.
