About The Position

As a Pipefitter IV, you'll serve as a master-level trade leader and senior field expert in commercial mechanical service and installation, partnering closely with General Foremen, Superintendents, and Project Managers to develop detailed project plans, resolve complex challenges proactively, and oversee high-profile piping work across wet-side HVAC systems nationwide. With full mastery of piping materials, codes, design, and execution (hydronic heating, chilled water, steam, boilers, chillers, process piping), you'll lead crews on advanced installations/repairs, ensure exceptional safety/quality/compliance, mentor the team, and drive operational efficiency for sustainable, reliable building performance. Our people-first culture celebrates your expertise with advanced leadership opportunities, specialized training, recognition for mentoring excellence, and the profound satisfaction of guiding high-performing teams that deliver outstanding results coast-to-coast.

  • High school diploma or GED required; trade school, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Valid journeyman or master pipefitter/plumber license (or ability to obtain in assigned jurisdiction); welding/brazing certification (e.g., AWS) preferred; valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb ladders/scaffolding/stairs, work in confined spaces or at heights, bend/kneel/crouch, reach overhead, and use tools/equipment for extended periods; frequent standing, walking, manual dexterity, and physical stamina required to handle high-stress, fast-paced environments.
  • Primarily field-based in commercial/industrial settings (indoor/outdoor, mechanical rooms, rooftops, varying weather); exposure to noise, dust, heights, welding hazards, chemicals, and confined-space risks; must strictly adhere to OSHA regulations, conduct hazard identification, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, harnesses, and steel-toed boots at all times—safety is our top priority and non-negotiable. This is a safety-sensitive position.
