About The Position

The Pipefitter Helper cuts, threads, and hammers pipe to specifications using tools. The role includes communicating to support the education of younger or less experienced workers. It also assembles and secures pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications; joins components by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, or threading; and attaches pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures such as radiators or tanks using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using tools.
• Communicate to support the education of younger or less experienced workers.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications.
• Weld, braze, cement, solder, and thread joints.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding.
