About The Position

HUTCO, Inc. is hiring a Pipe Welder in Pascagoula, Mississippi. The role performs pipe welding on stainless steel and copper-nickel pipe using the TIG welding process. The listed rate is $52.00 per hour, with $180 per diem for employees who qualify.

The welding test is conducted in a restricted 6G position on 5-inch schedule 80 carbon steel pipe. The test uses GTAW (TIG) for the root pass and an 11018 electrode for the fill and cap, and is intended to meet X-ray quality standards. The role may involve working all shifts, in confined spaces, at heights, and in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a pipe welder.
• Experience with GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (stick) welding.
• Ability to pass an X-ray welding test on stainless steel and copper-nickel in the restricted 6G position.
• Must pass a drug test (HFT) and E-Verify.
• Ability to work all shifts.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, ascend and work at heights, and work in all weather conditions.
