About The Position
We are seeking experienced Pipe Welders for an industrial and construction project in Walker, Louisiana. The role is for skilled, dependable, and safety-focused individuals with hands-on experience in Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) and Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG/GTAW) welding. This full-time opportunity offers steady project work and compensation of $31.00 per hour, with a $190 daily per diem subject to eligibility.
Requirements
- Previous pipe welding experience.
- Proficiency in Flux Core (FCAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding.
- Experience in 2-inch Monster welding.
- Strong knowledge of pipe welding techniques and safety procedures.
- Ability to produce high-quality welds that meet project standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.
- Reliable transportation to the assigned jobsite.
Responsibilities
- Perform pipe welding using Flux Core (FCAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding processes.
- Prepare, fit, and weld piping according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, and procedures.
- Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
- Safely operate welding equipment, tools, and machinery.
- Follow jobsite safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work with supervisors and other trades to complete assigned tasks.
- Perform additional welding-related duties as assigned.
Benefits
- $31.00 per hour.
