About The Position

JOB-2313 Combo Welders are needed for commercial and industrial construction projects. This role involves performing TIG, MIG, stick, and/or flux-cored welding on pipe and structural components, with a focus on butt welds on carbon and stainless steel. The position requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings, as well as cut, fit, tack, and weld piping systems. Ensuring welds meet quality and safety standards, operating welding equipment, and maintaining a clean work area are key responsibilities. The role also involves close collaboration with pipefitters, supervisors, and field crews, and adherence to all safety regulations.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of Combo Welding experience
Must be experienced with butt welds on carbon and stainless steel
Must pass a weld test
Must have own basic hand tools
Must be able to read blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
Must be able to perform physical tasks for a full shift
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
Must pass drug screen and all required background checks

OSHA 10 OR 30 preferred

Responsibilities

Perform TIG, MIG, stick, and/or flux-cored welding on pipe and structural components
Weld pipe systems for commercial and industrial construction projects
Perform butt welds on carbon and stainless steel
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings
Cut, fit, tack, and weld piping systems and components
Prepare surfaces and materials for welding
Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards
Operate welding equipment, cutting torches, grinders, and related tools
Work closely with pipefitters, project supervisors, and field crews
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
Lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds
