Blythe Development is a licensed general contractor specializing in site work, road construction, and golf course construction in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Founded in 1989, the company has grown to employ over 900 people and is now 100% Employee Owned. Blythe Development's operations include clearing, grading, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, waterline, curb and gutter, sidewalk, concrete paving, retaining walls, culverts, bridges, stone base, and asphalt paving. Blythe Brothers Asphalt Company provides asphalt services for Blythe Development Co. The company is currently seeking to add experienced pipe layers, loader operators, and general laborers to its pipe crews.

Requirements

• Experienced Pipe Layer
• Loader Operator
• General Laborer
• Good manual dexterity
• Multi-limb coordination
• Ability to move quickly
• Excellent stamina
• Ability to push, pull, or carry objects (over 50 lbs.)
• Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to climb ladders

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and tools requiring good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.
• Push, pull, or carry objects (over 50 lbs.).
• Use legs, hips, shoulders, abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
• Stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
• Climb ladders.
