About The Position

Westwood Country Club is seeking a highly motivated Pilates Mat Instructor to lead a minimum of 3 to 4 weekly group classes, with classes starting as early as 7 a.m. The instructor will provide personalized instruction to clients of all ages and fitness levels, helping them improve their physical health and well-being through Pilates.

The role requires a recognized Pilates Mat instruction certification, knowledge of anatomy and proper body alignment, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. The instructor should be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Compensation is per class rate plus commission.

Requirements

• Certification in Pilates Mat instruction from a recognized organization.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and proper body alignment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching other forms of fitness, such as yoga or barre.
• Certification in additional Pilates equipment, such as Reformer or Cadillac.
• Experience working with clients with injuries or special needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead safe and effective Pilates Mat classes for groups of varying sizes and fitness levels.
• Provide personalized instruction and modifications to clients to ensure proper form and technique.
• Maintain a clean and organized studio space.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in Pilates and fitness.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage long-term participation in classes.
