About The Position

Westwood Country Club is seeking a motivated Pilates Mat Instructor to lead a minimum of 3 to 4 group classes weekly, with classes starting as early as 7 a.m. The instructor will provide personalized instruction to clients of all ages and fitness levels, helping them improve their physical health and well-being through Pilates. Compensation is per class, plus commission.

Requirements

• Certification in Pilates Mat instruction from a recognized organization.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and proper body alignment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching other forms of fitness, such as yoga or barre.
• Certification in additional Pilates equipment, such as Reformer or Cadillac.
• Experience working with clients with injuries or special needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead safe, effective Pilates Mat classes for groups of varying sizes and fitness levels.
• Provide personalized instruction and modifications to support proper form and technique.
• Maintain a clean and organized studio space.
• Stay up to date with trends and developments in Pilates and fitness.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships to encourage continued participation in classes.
