Pickleball/Tennis Hybrid Coach
About The Position
Euro School of Tennis is hiring friendly and reliable coaches to teach beginner-level pickleball and tennis to children in Grades K–5 at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. Training, lesson plans, and equipment are provided. This is an in-person, part-time opportunity, with classes generally lasting 1–1.5 hours and starting between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Two or more days per week are preferred; the posting lists approximately 2–5 hours weekly. Pay is $50–$65 per class. The role may suit students, tennis players, or aspiring coaches interested in gaining coaching experience, continuing their passion for tennis, and learning other sports. Coaching support and opportunities for professional growth are offered. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
Requirements
- Must be 19 years or older.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Be reliable, positive, and willing to learn.
- Have good communication and classroom management skills.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be able to complete a background check and meet vaccination requirements.
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Pickleball or tennis experience is preferred but not required.
- Availability for two or more days per week is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach fun and engaging pickleball or tennis lessons.
- Manage groups of 8–10 children.
- Set up equipment and take attendance.
- Keep classes safe, active, and enjoyable.
- Communicate with parents and school staff.
