Pickleball/Tennis Hybrid Coach
About The Position
Euro School of Tennis is seeking friendly, reliable coaches to teach beginner-level pickleball and tennis to children in Grades K–5 at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. Training, lesson plans, and equipment are provided. Classes are in person, generally last 1–1.5 hours, and may start between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Candidates are preferred to work two or more days per week; the source ad lists approximately 2–5 hours weekly. This part-time opportunity is suited to people who enjoy working with children and want to gain coaching experience.
Requirements
- Must be 19 years or older.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Be reliable, positive, and willing to learn.
- Have good communication and classroom management skills.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be able to complete a background check and meet vaccination requirements.
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
Nice To Haves
- Pickleball or tennis experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Teach fun and engaging pickleball or tennis lessons.
- Manage groups of 8–10 children.
- Set up equipment and take attendance.
- Keep classes safe, active, and enjoyable.
- Communicate with parents and school staff.
