About The Position

The Pickleball Enrichment Coach leads engaging after-school pickleball and tennis classes for students in grades K–5 at elementary schools across the Bay Area. The coach creates a fun, supportive environment where children ages 5–10 can learn, play, and stay active. Classes use provided lesson plans and serve groups of 8–16 students. The role includes a two-day training session, preparing and transporting equipment, handling attendance and student sign-in/out, communicating with parents and school staff, providing feedback on student progress, and taking photos during sessions. Classes last 1–1.5 hours and start between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Coaches work at least two days per week, for a maximum of 2–5 hours weekly. Candidates must be local to the US or have a valid working visa; visa assistance is not provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of application.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for working with children and effective classroom management skills.
• Flexibility, reliability, punctuality, and a professional, enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication skills and a resilient, positive attitude.
• Reliable transportation, including an own car and valid driver’s license.
• Must be local to the US or possess a valid working visa; visa assistance is not provided.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience teaching or playing pickleball or tennis.
• USPTA or PTR certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage classes of 8–16 students ages 5–10.
• Deliver engaging lessons using the provided lesson plans.
• Participate in a two-day training session.
• Set up and transport pickleball and tennis equipment.
• Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out procedures.
• Communicate positively with parents and school staff.
• Provide constructive feedback on each student’s progress.
• Take photos of students during sessions.
