Pickleball Enrichment Coach
About The Position
Euro School of Tennis is seeking reliable, energetic, and positive coaches to teach beginner-level programs for children ages 5–10 (Grades K–5) at schools throughout the Bay Area. The role is in person. The company provides lesson plans and equipment and aims to create a fun, active, and supportive learning environment for young players. Regular coaching opportunities pay $18–$24 per hour and are generally scheduled Monday through Friday, around 9:00 AM–1:00 PM. Back-to-back sessions may be available. Saturday tennis clinics pay $18–$24 per hour and are scheduled on Saturdays and/or Sundays, with back-to-back sessions available. These opportunities are available to coaches who demonstrate strong tennis and coaching skills. Coaches must attend a two-day unpaid training and shadowing session, with each session lasting 2–3 hours. Applicants must live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Be at least 19 years old.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Have strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Have a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Complete required employment screening and documentation.
- Provide a photo and short biography for the company website.
- Currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work.
Nice To Haves
- Playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
- USPTA/PTR certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated strong tennis and coaching skills for the listed regular coaching and Saturday clinic opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Teach classes using company lesson plans.
- Manage groups of 8–16 students.
- Create a safe and positive learning environment.
- Attend a two-day unpaid training and shadowing session, with 2–3 hours per session.
- Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
- Communicate professionally with parents and school staff.
- Take a few class photos for program documentation.
