About The Position
This position is responsible for performing all work duties safely and maintaining the Tyson safety culture. The role involves assisting in the pickle-making process, including ingredient retrieval, brine preparation, and adherence to program instructions. The team member will also be required to operate a forklift as needed and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Reporting any maintenance or quality issues to the supervisor is also a key function.
Requirements
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Willing and able to frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently walk.
- Work in wet and/or humid conditions, and extreme cold.
- Work in a work environment where the noise level is usually loud.
- Occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.

Responsibilities
- Perform all work duties safely and maintain the Tyson safety culture.
- Receive training as required.
- Perform other duties/positions as required/assigned.
- Assist in determining when the pickle will be made and how much is needed.
- Assist with retrieving ingredients from the warehouse daily.
- Assist with entering brine required into the system.
- Assist with following program instruction in preparing pickle.
- Assist with transferring brine from lixator tanks at the appropriate salometer level.
- Assist with scanning all ingredients with scanner before adding to the pickle.
- Assist with following process instructions as per the touch screen.
- Fill in as needed to drive a forklift.
- Assist with entering all required information into the Plant View/Safety Chain QA System if needed.
- Assist with scanning using the EIM system to the process orders.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Report any issues related to maintenance or quality of the product to supervisor.
