About The Position
This position is for a team member responsible for monitoring carcasses for unvented ones and removing incidental feathers. The role requires the use of scissors and involves physical activities such as standing, reaching, pulling, lifting birds weighing less than 5 pounds, and hand manipulation (pinch/grip). The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform these physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire
- 180 days (6 months) waiting period for rehire consideration
Responsibilities
- Monitor carcasses passing for unvented carcasses
- Use scissors for venting carcasses
- Monitor and remove incidental feathers when not engaged in venting
