About The Position

Fastenal is hiring an entry-level, part-time Picking employee at its distribution center at 6445 Fulton Industrial Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30336. The role helps move products from the distribution center to company-owned branches. Employees pick the quantities requested in branch orders, pack the products, print labels with routing numbers, and move products to the next department by hand or with a pallet jack or forklift. The position is in a fast-paced warehouse and may offer a flexible schedule after onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. The listed shifts are Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., for up to 28 hours per week. Requirements

Proficient written and oral communication skills.

Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and sometimes up to 100 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
