About The Position

The Picker accurately and efficiently picks and packs products, prepares orders for shipment, and supports the orderly flow of products through the production process. The role requires following safety regulations and quality standards while working independently and communicating with other departments verbally, in writing, and by computer. The Picker also functions as a team member within the department and organization and performs other duties as assigned.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime as needed. The interview is with the Picking Department Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of warehouse and/or production work experience.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of warehouse and/or production work experience.
• OSHA forklift operator certificate.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick and pack products according to established standards.
• Operate scanning equipment.
• Pack orders according to customer requirements and/or provided specifications.
• Meet established productivity and quality standards.
• Identify mistakes and problems, recommend solutions, provide timely feedback, involve others in problem-solving when needed, and follow responsibilities through to completion.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
