3rd Shift Picker Packer: Temp-to-Hire
About The Position
This is a temp-to-hire position for a 3rd Shift Picker Packer. The role involves operating within specific warehouse systems to pick items, ensuring accuracy in titles, quantities, and item condition. You will also be responsible for handling exceptions like damaged or missing items according to quality control procedures and adhering to all safety guidelines. The position offers a pay rate of $17.00/hr with a $2.50/hr shift differential, and on-demand pay is available. The shift is Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 pm-7:00 am, with potential for overtime. After a 90-day probationary performance review, employees are eligible for full-time, permanent status.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50lbs throughout shift
- Ability to follow all safety guidelines
Responsibilities
- Operate within the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems to pick items
- Maintain accuracy by verifying book titles, quantities, and item condition
- Handle exceptions such as damaged, missing, or oversized items by adhering to Lakeside Book Company’s quality control procedures
