About The Position

Guilderland Music Academy, part of the One Music Schools team, is seeking passionate musicians to share their love of music. Our administrative team handles all business operations, including scheduling, marketing, billing, and event planning, allowing teachers to focus solely on instruction. Requirements

• Must be able to connect with people of all ages and skill levels
• Must be able to demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill level during an interview
• Open to first-time teachers and experienced teachers alike
• Must give a minimum of a 1-year commitment to teaching with us
• Submit a Music Specific Resume

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Music Education or Music Performance
• Ability to teach on multiple instruments (piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, drums, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Instructing students for 30-minute lessons
• Assessing new student abilities
• Creating lesson plans
• Preparing students for recitals
• Facilitating student participation in recitals
• Assisting students in reaching their goals for learning
• Communicating with parents/guardians on student progress
