About The Position
Come join the One Music Schools team at our New York studio, Guilderland Music Academy! We are a team of passionate musicians who LOVE sharing our gifts with others! Our admin team handles all business operations including scheduling new students into your schedule, marketing, billing, planning recitals and events, etc. — enabling you to focus solely on engaging your students. Requirements
- Must be able to demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill level during an interview
- Must give a minimum of a 1-year commitment to teaching with us

Nice To Haves
- Degree in Music Education or Music Performance
- The ability to teach on multiple instruments (piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, drums, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Instructing students for 30 minute lessons
- Assessing new student abilities
- Creating lesson plans
- Preparing students for recitals
- Facilitating student participation in recitals
- Assisting students in reaching their goals for learning
- Communicating with parents/guardians on students progress
