About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a piano teacher to provide private music lessons and inspire students of different ages and skill levels. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment, builds positive relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and works with store teams on lesson scheduling and student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially with piano.

Nice To Haves

• Further teaching experience with related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.

• Partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.
