About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a piano teacher to teach and inspire students in a supportive, safe, and engaging learning environment. The role involves providing private music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels and helping them develop their musical abilities. The teacher builds relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and works with store teams on lesson scheduling and student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially on piano.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience with voice or related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
