About The Position

Audition to be a part of our team! The showboat is casting a piano player with commitment dates through December 31st. You could play for a dramatic, comedic, romantic, or musical production. We are looking for entertaining candidates who are skilled piano players! Musicians must apply AND audition in order to be considered for a position. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Requirements

• Expressive abilities, poise, stage presence, and a feel for music are required.
• Strong improvisation skills.
• Musicians (piano) with the ability to perform various styles including, but not limited to, country, pop, rock & roll, musical theatre, etc.
• Able to communicate efficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Rehearses parts to learn songs and cues as directed.
• Applies make-up and wears a costume to change or enhance appearance and portrayal of character or role.
• Plays music as the role requires.
