About The Position

One Music Schools is looking to expand its team for its studios in Oregon, Arts Academy. We are a team of passionate musicians who LOVE sharing our gifts with others! Requirements

• Must be able to connect with people of all ages and skill levels
• Must be able to demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill level during an interview
• Open to first-time teachers and experienced teachers alike
• Must give a minimum of a 1-year commitment to teaching with us

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Music Education or Music Performance
• The ability to teach on multiple instruments (piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, drums, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Instructing students for 30 minute lessons
• Assessing new student abilities
• Creating lesson plans
• Preparing students for recitals
• Facilitating student participation in recitals
• Assisting students in reaching their goals for learning
• Communicating with parents/guardians on students progress
