Voice Teacher - Scotia Music Academy (W2, Benefits Available)
About The Position
One Music Schools is hiring for a voice teacher at our New York studio, Scotia Music Academy! We are a team of passionate musicians who LOVE sharing our gifts with others! Our admin team handles all business operations including scheduling new students into your schedule, marketing, billing, planning recitals and events, etc. — enabling you to focus solely on engaging your students. Requirements
- Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to connect with people of all ages and skill levels
- Must be able to demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill level during an interview
- Open to first-time teachers and experienced teachers alike
- Must give a minimum of a 1-year commitment to teaching with us

Nice To Haves
- Degree in Music Education or Music Performance is not required, but is always a plus
- The ability to teach on multiple instruments (piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, drums, etc.) is always welcome!
Responsibilities
- Instructing students for 30 minute lessons
- Assessing new student abilities
- Creating lesson plans
- Preparing students for recitals
- Facilitating student participation in recitals
- Assisting students in reaching their goals for learning
- Communicating with parents/guardians on students progress
