About The Position

At SimonMed, the Physician Account Representative is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with physicians, attorneys, office staff, and key decision-makers across an assigned territory. This role promotes SimonMed’s imaging services, supports referring providers, and ensures seamless access for patients who depend on timely diagnostic imaging. This is a high-impact, field-based role where relationship-building, market knowledge, and proactive outreach directly influence patient access, provider satisfaction, and organizational growth. You will work closely with both legal and medical partners to expand referral networks, increase utilization, and deliver measurable results across your territory. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Experience with prospecting, cold calling, and territory management
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven approach
  • Proficiency in computer skills and professional phone etiquette
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with attorneys, physicians, and office staff—establishing trust through consistent outreach, responsiveness, and professional engagement.
  • Proactively grow your territory through prospecting, cold calling, scheduling appointments, and managing ongoing client relationships to drive consistent referral activity.
  • Provide education and resources to attorneys and physicians while identifying opportunities to expand business and increase imaging utilization across your territory.
  • Plan and execute an effective territory strategy—working independently, managing your pipeline, and operating with the mindset of running your own business.
  • Address client concerns quickly and effectively, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and strengthening long-term relationships.
  • Maintain strong communication with physicians, patients, and internal teams while adhering to organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
