Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well. About the role We are looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor to join our National Corporate SWAT Team at BrokerLink. Working out of one of our Alberta, branch offices, on a Permanent FT Basis.

Requirements

Minimum 1-year Personal Insurance experience preferred
Alberta Licensed (Expected to obtain other provincial licenses once onboarded)
Exposure to Epic is an asset
Be Agile and able to pivot with little notice
Strong customer focus
Comfortable working with everchanging technology
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
Strong analytical and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Being agile in all aspects of customer service with a high focus on technical ability
Service customers across Canada using all available methods of communication to provide customer with a seamless omni-channel experience
Handle incoming Underwriting Carrier requests
Participate in strategic debrief sessions to highlight operational areas of improvement
Deploy your skills and expertise to any area of the business that requires support
Contact Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewals
Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
Be Licensed across all provinces where BrokerLink operates
Actively participate in training initiatives
Provide guidance and assistance to the business as required
