About The Position

The Medcan Clinic is recruiting for a licensed Physiotherapist to join our high-performing and fast-growing team of practitioners within Medcan’s Sports Medicine, Therapy and Rehabilitation service. This is an Independent Contractor position seeking a Saturday commitment for half days or full days to start. There may also be the opportunity to additional days Monday - Friday in the future. Our Toronto clinic is located at 150 York Street.

Requirements

• Physiotherapy degree
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• Minimum two years’ experience
• Superior organization and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Significant experience in dealing with varied orthopedic and sports injuries is an asset
• Additional physiotherapy related qualifications are an asset

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based musculoskeletal conservative care.
• Demonstrate exceptional clinical care practices and professionalism
• Integrate Chiropractic services into an existing collaborative practice environment.
• Work alongside physicians, physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, massage therapists, fitness professionals and other physiotherapists.
• Emphasize inter-professional collaborations through effective communication and coordinated treatment plans.

Benefits

• Remuneration for this role will be dependent on number of days worked, patient volume and level of candidate's experience and qualification. The above range pertains solely to base earnings based on fee split rates and is not inclusive of additional compensation details such as perks, benefits, and potential bonuses or incentives.
