About The Position

The Medcan Clinic is recruiting for a licensed Physiotherapist to join our high-performing and fast-growing team of practitioners within Medcan’s Sports Medicine, Therapy and Rehabilitation service. This is an Independent Contractor position seeking a 2-3 half day commitment with the possibility to build to full days as volume grows. The specific schedule/hours will be mutually determined and has some flexibility.

Requirements

• Physiotherapy degree
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• Minimum two years’ experience
• Superior organization and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Significant experience in dealing with varied orthopedic and sports injuries is an asset
• Additional physiotherapy related qualifications are an asset

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based musculoskeletal conservative care.
• Demonstrate exceptional clinical care practices and professionalism
• Integrate Chiropractic services into an existing collaborative practice environment.
• Work alongside physicians, physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, massage therapists, fitness professionals and other physiotherapists.
• Emphasize inter-professional collaborations through effective communication and coordinated treatment plans.
