Requirements

  • Registration (or eligibility) with your provincial College of Physiotherapists
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing learning
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team

  • Specialty training or interest in areas such as vestibular, pelvic health, neurological rehab, or orthopedics

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based assessment and treatment across a diverse caseload, including musculoskeletal, neurological, vestibular, pelvic health, and return-to-work rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, kinesiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary rehab professionals in supportive, team-based environments.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver hands-on therapy and active rehabilitation programs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal outcomes.
  • Guide patients through recovery, prevention, and performance strategies.
  • Support return-to-work planning and functional goal setting.
  • Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation.
