About The Position
The Physiotherapist functions as an integral member of the inter-professional healthcare team at Juravinski Hospital. They provide comprehensive assessment; treatment planning; intervention services to patients, and working collaboratively with team members, they apply clinical expertise to maximize patients' functional independence, facilitate recovery, and support safe discharge and community reintegration.
Requirements
- Current Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Current knowledge and experience in the clinical management of a post-operative patient population, including major gastroenterology surgical patients
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving
- Demonstrated willingness to gain knowledge and acquire skills to develop a higher level of professional expertise
