About The Position

Lifemark is seeking a passionate physiotherapist dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Canadians. The role is part of the RTW (Return to Work) program, which offers stability and team-based work. This program provides interdisciplinary care for injured workers, preparing them for return to work after workplace musculoskeletal injuries. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating these injuries to improve function, manage symptoms, and reduce the impact of workplace injury. The position involves close collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, including psychologists, occupational therapists, kinesiologists, and physicians, as well as other physiotherapists. There is also potential for growth into specialty services like Brain Injury and Traumatic Psychological Injuries treatment.

Requirements

  • Active license in good standing with your provincial regulatory college.
  • Professional liability insurance (as required).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset.
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring, participating in clinic events, and sharing knowledge.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2+ years of outpatient clinic experience (preferred; new grads with provisional licenses are encouraged to apply!).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries with a goal of improving function, managing symptoms, and reducing the impact of workplace injury on clients’ lives.
  • Work closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychologists, occupational therapists, kinesiologist, and physicians.
  • Collaborate with other physiotherapists.
  • Develop personalized, evidence-informed care plans to support individual rehabilitation and wellness goals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centric care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Build the next generation through mentorship and leadership (as assigned).
  • Stay current with best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Utilize modern tools, including e-charting and digital communication, to streamline workflow.
  • Partner with therapy assistants and kinesiologists to maximize clinical impact.
  • Educate patients and their families on recovery, prevention, and self-management strategies.
