About The Position

Lifemark Meadowlark Centre is a large interdisciplinary rehabilitation clinic that offers physiotherapy services in Edmonton to those injured in motor vehicle accidents (MVAs), at work (WCB), as well as veterans, athletes, and others injured during regular activities or while performing as weekend warriors. Lifemark Meadowlark Centre also has a government-funded chronic pain program in which physiotherapists work closely with physicians, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists and kinesiologists to help improve clients' function and quality of life. We are conveniently located in the Meadowlark medical mall in Edmonton’s west end, with free parking available. As a Lifemark physiotherapist, you’ll be a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, empowering individuals to overcome challenges, improve their mobility, and achieve their health goals. You'll be more than a care provider; you'll be an educator, motivator, and problem-solver, lifting people up, meeting people where they are in their health journeys, sharing knowledge, and delivering top-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

Active license in good standing with your provincial regulatory college.
Professional liability insurance (as required).
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset.
Enthusiasm for mentoring, participating in clinic events, and sharing knowledge.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

1–2+ years of outpatient clinic experience (preferred; new grads with provisional licenses are encouraged to apply!).

Responsibilities

Develop personalized, evidence-informed care plans to support individual rehabilitation and wellness goals.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centric care and achieve optimal outcomes.
Build the next generation through mentorship and leadership (as assigned).
Stay current with best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
Utilize modern tools, including e-charting and digital communication, to streamline your workflow.
Partner with therapy assistants and kinesiologists to maximize clinical impact.
Educate patients and their families on recovery, prevention, and self-management strategies.
