About The Position

Lifemark Physiotherapy Stoney Creek is seeking a Temporary Contract Employee for the role of Physiotherapist. This position is based at 42 King Street East, Stoney Creek, ON, L8G 1K1. The role involves developing potential and making a difference in the health and well-being of Canadians by expanding access to care and creating lasting impact in the communities served. As a Lifemark physiotherapist, you will be a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, empowering individuals to overcome challenges, improve mobility, and achieve health goals. You will act as an educator, motivator, and problem-solver, delivering top-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • Active license in good standing with your provincial regulatory college.
  • Professional liability insurance (as required).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset.
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring, participating in clinic events, and sharing knowledge.
  • 1-2 years of outpatient clinic experience (New grads are welcome to apply)
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop personalized, evidence-informed care plans to support individual rehabilitation and wellness goals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centric care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Build the next generation through mentorship and leadership (as assigned).
  • Stay current with best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Utilize modern tools, including e-charting and digital communication, to streamline your workflow.
  • Partner with therapy assistants and kinesiologists to maximize clinical impact.
  • Educate patients and their families on recovery, prevention, and self-management strategies.
