About The Position

Lifemark is seeking a passionate physiotherapist dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Canadians. Active Physio Works Kensington is a community-focused physiotherapy clinic in Edmonton that emphasizes exercise-based rehabilitation to help clients get moving again. The clinic provides client-centred care for individuals recovering from everyday, sports, motor vehicle accident, and work-related injuries, serving AHS, MVA, WCB, and private patients. The team offers a wide range of services, including physiotherapy, massage therapy, concussion assessment and treatment, vestibular rehab, manual therapy, dry needling and acupuncture, and custom orthotics. Active Physio Works takes pride in its strong connection to the local community, with therapists and staff actively involved in community events and fundraisers throughout the year, supporting clients in returning to optimal mobility and physical function.

Requirements

Active license in good standing with your provincial regulatory college.
Professional liability insurance (as required).
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset.
Enthusiasm for mentoring, participating in clinic events, and sharing knowledge.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

1–2+ years of outpatient clinic experience (preferred; new grads with provisional licenses are encouraged to apply!).

Responsibilities

Develop personalized, evidence-informed care plans to support individual rehabilitation and wellness goals.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centric care and achieve optimal outcomes.
Build the next generation through mentorship and leadership (as assigned).
Stay current with best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
Utilize modern tools, including e-charting and digital communication, to streamline your workflow.
Partner with therapy assistants and kinesiologists to maximize clinical impact.
Educate patients and their families on recovery, prevention, and self-management strategies.
