About The Position
Empowerment Academy Charter School is hiring a High School Physics Teacher for the upcoming 2026/2027 School Year and beyond. The school is implementing a Critical Need Bonus for certified Science Teachers of $7,500. Requirements
- Teacher certification is required for this role.
- Must hold a CE, CEAS, Limited CE, or Standard Certificate in “Physics" or Physical Science.
- Must be certified by the NJ DOE or graduating in May with teacher certification.
Responsibilities
- Teach High School Physics.
- Plan lessons and solve problems with peers in professional learning communities (PLCs).
- Partner with an array of specialists to meet scholars’ diverse needs.
- Utilize a research-based curriculum and supporting curricular materials.
- Administer high-quality formative assessments aligned with the curriculum.
- Support students struggling to master essential skills, concepts, or knowledge items.
