About The Position

Golden State Dermatology (GSD) is a physician-led and majority-owned dermatology group committed to providing an exceptional patient experience. We offer an independent practice model, empowering providers with the necessary support and resources. Our network of dedicated professionals focuses on clinical excellence, aiming to increase access to high-value, affordable dermatology care through our expanding community-based network. We specialize in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, treating conditions of the skin, hair, and nails. Our services include Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetic skincare, anti-aging treatments, body contouring, plastic surgery, and advanced treatments for various skin conditions. We utilize state-of-the-art technology for services like Ultherapy, Fraxel, SmartLipo, BOTOX®, filler, CoolSculpting, CoolTone, and laser tattoo removal.

Requirements

• PA certified or NP certified
• California Medical License
• 1 to 2+ years of clinical derm experience
• Self-starter
• Able to work independently
• Entrepreneurial spirit

Responsibilities

• Provide medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care.
• Treat conditions of the skin, hair, and nails.
• Perform Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer treatment.
• Offer surgical and non-surgical cosmetic skincare services.
• Administer anti-aging treatments and body contouring.
• Conduct plastic surgery procedures.
• Utilize advanced treatments for conditions ranging from acne to Mohs surgery.
• Provide popular cosmetic services including Ultherapy, Fraxel, SmartLipo, BOTOX® and filler, CoolSculpting and CoolTone, and laser tattoo removal.
• Split time equally between two clinic sites (Modesto and Manteca).
• Work independently and demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Utilize the EMA (electronic medical record) system.
• Collaborate with board-certified dermatologists, Nurse Practitioners, and other Physician Assistants.
• Manage a high demand and backlog of patients.
