A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens. This position requires a Common Access Card (CAC), and the ability to pass the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) clearance process to acquire a Common Access Card (CAC). Provides comprehensive medical evaluations for MEPS applicants, ensuring full compliance with OSHA, Privacy Act, DoD, and USMEPCOM standards. Reviews medical records, conducts detailed histories and physical exams, interprets diagnostic tests, and identifies disqualifying conditions. Assesses all body systems, determines the need for additional exams, communicates abnormal findings to applicants, and updates medical staff for accurate database documentation. This role offers predictable hours with zero call, and is onsite at the MEPCOM location, Monday-Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Cherokee Nation values a service-driven community and offers a national infrastructure and responsive operations team.
