About The Position

Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine physician to join their established practice at the Curtis location in Champaign, Illinois. This is a 100% outpatient position utilizing EMR with both in-person and virtual visit options. It is a full-time position within a certified Patient Centered Medical Home model. Call is phone-only, assisted by a Patient Advisory Nurse, and spread among a physician group of over 10. The physician will join a team of 6 physicians, 4 APPs, and excellent support staff, working within a team-based care model. The clinic also offers specialty services including Dermatology, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, Gynecology, Radiology, Pediatrics, Genetics, and Allergy. Diagnostic services available on-site include Lab, radiology, and sonography. A Convenient Care/Urgent Care department operates 365 days a year, and an on-site Pharmacy is open from 8 am to midnight daily. Teaching opportunities are available through Carle Foundation Hospital’s accredited Internal Medicine residency program and the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. Optional opportunities for additional hours in Convenient Care/Urgent Care and research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine (with support staff) are also available.

Requirements

BE/BC Internal Medicine physician
Valid medical license
Ability to use EMR system
Willingness to participate in a team-based care model
Willingness to take phone-only call

Responsibilities
