About The Position
Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine physician to join our established practice at our Windsor location in Urbana, Illinois. This is a 100% outpatient position using EMR with both in-person and virtual visit options. Call is phone only with assistance of Patient Advisory Nurse and spread among a physician group of > 10. Join a team of 4 physicians, 3 APPs and excellent support staff, alongside a broader primary care team in our clinic that includes Family Medicine and Geriatrics Physicians and APPs. In addition to Adult Medicine, specialty services provided at our clinic include Dermatology, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, Gynecology, Radiology, Pediatrics, Genetics, Allergy and Convenient Care. A team-based care model for patient care is utilized. Teaching opportunities are available through Carle Foundation Hospital’s accredited Internal Medicine residency program and the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. There is an opportunity for research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine with support to help with research and publications if desired.
Requirements
- BE/BC Internal Medicine physician
- Experience with EMR systems
- Ability to conduct both in-person and virtual visits
- Willingness to participate in phone-only call rotation
- Ability to work within a team-based care model
- Interest in teaching opportunities
- Interest in research affiliation
