About The Position

The Physician will provide cardiac anesthesia and care for patients undergoing a broad range of surgical and procedural cases in a Level I Trauma hospital in York, Pennsylvania. The patient population includes all ages, and case volume varies by anesthetizing location. The role includes clinical coverage and night beeper call, with day shifts consisting of 10-hour shifts and approximately three call shifts per week from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. The physician supervises CRNAs and other anesthesia providers at a 1:3 supervision ratio and collaborates with surgeons and specialty clinicians to manage complex patient populations. The facility uses Epic. Hospital privileges are required; temporary privileges may be available with leadership approval. The credentialing timeline is 90 days. Coverage begins November 6, 2026, and continues ongoing.

Requirements

• Pennsylvania license or Universal License (IMLC).
• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Hospital privileges are required.

• Two years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities
