About The Position

Rome Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist to join its established, hospital-employed team in Rome, New York. The physician will work alongside anesthesiologists and CRNAs in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on clinical excellence and high-quality care. Rome Health serves approximately 80,000 people in Rome and surrounding Oneida County communities. It is a comprehensive health care system with 130 acute care beds, an 80-bed skilled nursing facility, primary care clinics, specialty practices, and outpatient services. Through an affiliation with St. Joseph’s Health in Syracuse, Rome Health collaborates with regional and national health system resources while retaining the flexibility of an independent community health system. Current projects include expanding surgical services and operating suites, enhancing obstetrical services, updating inpatient units, and expanding access to primary care.

Requirements

• MD, DO, or MBBS degree.
• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency.
• Eligible for New York State licensure.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care.
