About The Position

LifeMD is seeking a board-certified Family Medicine Physician who resides in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, or South Carolina, is licensed in multiple states, and is able and willing to serve as a supervising Physician. The Physician will provide patient care through LifeMD’s telehealth platform, collaborating with other Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and support staff to deliver care through virtual primary care and weight loss offerings. The role includes full-time telemedicine consultations conducted through text and video. Physicians educate patients about suitable treatments and personalized care plans, oversee follow-ups for ongoing programs, and prescribe medications and refills as appropriate. Shifts are flexible. The listed hourly rate is $145, and malpractice insurance coverage is provided.

Requirements

Board-certified Family Medicine Physician.
Minimum of three years of experience.
Primary care experience and ability to diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
Reside in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, or South Carolina.
Be licensed in multiple states.
Be able and willing to serve as a supervising Physician.
Have a clean background and medical malpractice history.
Be tech-savvy, proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience prescribing GLP-1 medications for weight loss.
Telemedicine experience.

Responsibilities
