About The Position

Virtua Health is seeking a part-time Inpatient Psychiatrist to provide care in its 22-bed voluntary inpatient psychiatric unit at Virtua Mount Holly Hospital in Mount Holly, New Jersey. The physician will care for individuals with a range of psychiatric conditions, helping them stabilize, heal, and build a foundation for long-term recovery. The role includes contributing to clinical education for Virtua Health psychiatry and family medicine residency programs and the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine psychiatry residency program, as well as participating in call and weekend rotations. The position is scheduled for 16 hours on Saturdays and Sundays during the first shift. Virtua Health describes its behavioral health services as spanning inpatient and outpatient care, pediatric behavioral health, interventional psychiatry, substance use disorder treatment, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorder services. The starting salary is $140,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, internal equity, and market data.
