Physician - Inpatient Psychiatry - UCSF Health Hyde Hospital
About The Position
Vituity is seeking an ABPN-eligible or ABPN-certified physician for inpatient psychiatry at UCSF Health Hyde Hospital in San Francisco, California. The position is part of Vituity’s physician-owned partnership, which offers autonomy and local control, peer support, career development opportunities, and participation in profit distributions and equity ownership from day one. The practice serves a 19-bed behavioral health unit with an annual volume of 1,000 and a daily volume of 55–80, with an admission rate below 10%. There are three physician shifts per day, with eight-hour APP coverage from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Vituity-staffed emergency department and hospitalist teams provide integrated care at the site. The schedule is seven days on and seven days off. The estimated annual base compensation is $275,000–$900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Partnership income may increase total compensation beyond the stated range.
Requirements
- Be eligible for or certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
- Hold a current California state license.
